Patrick joined Hopkins in 1989 and was made a Director in 2002. Patrick has particular expertise in hospitality and workplace, and was the Project Director in charge of Portcullis House at Westminster, the first new parliamentary building for 150 years within the estate, adjacent to the Elizabeth Tower.
Most recently, Patrick has been working on the new Peninsula London Hotel where he brings his considerable experience of managing complex projects on sensitive sites. In 2009 Patirck was responsible for the Newton and Arkwright Buildings at Nottingham Trent University, renovating and modernising to dated, inefficient and incoherent historic buildings to form a vibrant new social heart for the city-centre campus.
Patrick has lectured and given talks to a number of Institutes and organisations, including students and members of the Architectural Association, and the Fellows of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
