John Messenger
Director

John joined Hopkins as a Director in 2016. He studied Architecture at The University of Manchester and the Manchester School of Architecture. 

His key project experience includes Hong Kong International Airport, the Yas Island St Regis Resort, the Al Raha Beach Masterplan in Abu Dhabi, and Sakhalin 1 – offices and a residential community for Exxon workers in east Russia.

At Hopkins, John was part of the team on the Dubai Water Canal Residences and Hotel project. Most recently, he has been working on the Expo 2020 Thematic Districts project, which contains 168,000 sqm of exhibition space and exhibitor offices. He is now working on District 2020, the legacy project designed to convert the Thematic Districts into commercial, residential and retail units.
