    Chris joined the practice in 1992 and became a Director in 2002. Chris has particular experience in sports projects, and alongside Mike Taylor was responsible for the responsible for the day-to-day operation and coordination of the Design Team for the 2012 Olympic Velodrome, the most sustainable venue in the Olympic Park, ad delivered on time and on budget.

    More recently, he led the team working on the Stirling Prize shortlisted mixed-use building for British Land at 100 Liverpool Street in the City of London. the project has retained a significant amount of the structure from the previous building in order to minimise its impact on the environment. As Project Director, Chris was responsible for the design of the National Tennis Centre for the LTA in London, a centre of tennis excellence which won the BCO Best of the Best Award in 2008.

    Chris is passionate about sustainability design and leads the coordination of environmental design within the office, as well as being a registered BREEAM Assessor. He has taught at Oxford Brookes University, and has lectured widely.
