Paul joined Hopkins in 2007 and was made an Associate Director in 2019. He has particular expertise in sport and sustainable design, and was a key member of the design team for WWF-UK's Living Planet Centre, the BREEAM 'Outstanding' headquarters created to set a dynamic new sustainable precedent for organisations across the country and worldwide, with many innovative sustainability features.
Paul's sport experience includes the spectator strategy and seating design for the 50,000-seat Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, India, which was built for the 2010 World Cup. He also oversaw the complexities of the design and coordination of the roof and superstructure at Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium, a 55,000-seat ground in Pune located in a seismic zone.
Paul is currently working on a new Humanities building for the University of Oxford, which will pull together seven faculties, two institutes and six Bodleian libraries along with a world-class Concert Hall and three other performance venues, exhibition and film spaces into a unique academic and public building in the centre of the city.
