Hopkins wins Ripon Cathedral Renewed project November 1, 2019
Hopkins Architects have been chosen from an invited competition of twenty-six practices to design a new building alongside Ripon Cathedral.
The Ripon Cathedral Renewed Project is part of the cathedral’s strategic vision for a 21st century cathedral, providing much needed facilities for visitors, tourists, the cathedral and its renowned choir.
The project will enhance and respect the historic fabric of the cathedral and its precinct, increase visitor access, and allow existing space within the cathedral to be opened up for public access.
Ripon Cathedral Renewed provides a privileged opportunity for Hopkins Architects to further develop their portfolio from their projects at Norwich Cathedral and St George’s Chapel, Great Yarmouth.
