Holkham Hall Stables and Pottery Building Opens October 26, 2016
Hopkins Architects have completed the Stables and Pottery Buildings at the Grade I listed Holkham Hall in North Norfolk. Won following a competitive bid, the project acts as a catalyst for the regeneration of the heart of the Estate. It enhances and clarifies the historic importance of the site by reorganising and reworking several existing buildings to produce significantly enhanced visitor facilities and staff accommodation.
It also improves the arrival sequence to the Hall itself and supplements its facilities by rehabilitating two historic buildings into a new flexible events space, enlarged restaurant, museum, shop and staff facilities.
