Hopkins projects win honours at Civic Trust Awards March 10, 2014
Two Hopkins projects received honours at Friday evening's 2014 Civic Trust Awards ceremony at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Brent Civic Centre received an award and the University of East London's Stratford Library received a commendation.
Established in 1959, the Civic Trust Awards are the oldest standing built environment awards in Europe and recognise the best in architecture, design, planning, landscape and public art. They are given to projects that demonstrate high quality architecture or design, have demonstrated sustainability, are accessible to all users and have made a positive cultural social or economic contribution to the local community.
