Bryony Spottiswoode - ConsultantProject Architect
Bryony joined Hopkins Architects in 2016 and became a Project Architect in 2018. She studied at the University of Sheffield and UCL, where she received an Alumni Scholarship and gained a Distinction respectively. More recently, Bryony completed a Masters in Project and Enterprise Management in Construction at The Bartlett.
Prior to joining Hopkins, Bryony worked at Allies and Morrison where she gained insight into how urban environments can build on their historic form through her work on a 624ha new city in Oman. She was at John McAslan + Partners for two years, during which time she was part of a small team that delivered four Heritage House Museums in Doha, Qatar, and was the Architect for Camberwell Library in London.
She is currently working on The Peninsula London Hotel and Residences, and is leading the team responsible for delivering the 25 super prime apartments and associated residential amenities. This includes the 10,000 sqft Peninsula Penthouse, as well as a number of bespoke sub-penthouse designs. Bryony’s passion for quality, attention to detail, and commitment to finding technical resolutions to achieve the desired function and aesthetic are the founding principles of her work.
Bryony speaks fluent Russian from her upbringing in Kazakhstan, and is a keen cyclist and rower.
