Luigi Rapicavoli

Project Architect

Luigi has worked for Hopkins Architects since August 2014. Following his studies at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy he gained experience in prestigious central London practices where he worked on the concept and design development of several residential projects and major sport venues, these include the Saudi Arabia national stadium in Jeddah and the tennis centre court for Rio 2016 Olympic Games. He has also worked on charity projects such as the masterplan for the Gola Forest National Park in Sierra Leone.

Since joining the practice, Luigi has been involved in a variety of projects including a new music school for King's College in Wimbledon, mixed use retail and office buildings in central London, and the Institute of Immunity and Transplantation, a world leading medical research centre for UCL with offices and accommodations for the adjacent hospital in Hampstead, North London. He is currently following early construction stages for this project.

Luigi has a strong interest in sustainable green architecture and building technology; his project for the requalification of Vauxhall in 2013 has been highly commended by the RIBA.
