Luigi Rapicavoli

Project Architect

Luigi has worked for Hopkins since 2014. Following his studies at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy, he gained experience in prestigious London practices working on the concept and design development of several residential projects and major sporting venues, including the Saudi Arabia national stadium in Jeddah, and the tennis centre court for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. He also worked on charity projects such as the masterplan for the Gola Forest National Park in Sierra Leone.

 

Since joining Hopkins, Luigi has been involved in a variety of projects including a Music School for King's College in Wimbledon, and mixed-use retail and office buildings in Central London. He is currently working on the Institute of Immunity and Transplantation, a world leading medical research centre for UCL, with offices and accommodations for the adjacent Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, North London. 

 

Luigi has a strong interest in sustainable green architecture and building technology. His project for the requalification of Vauxhall in 2013 was highly commended by the RIBA.
