Thom KilvertAssociate Partner
Thom studied architecture at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and the University of Westminster. He joined the practice in 2005 to work on the refurbishment of the Wellcome Trust building in London.
He then worked on the $270 million Frick Chemistry Laboratory for Princeton University in the USA. This building provides a new home for the Chemistry Department, integrating teaching and high-level research spaces in a facility which enhances interaction, collaboration and creativity in an energy-efficient design. His main responsibilities during this project were the design, development and construction of the building's facades.
After Princeton, Thom was the Project Architect on the 6,000 seat London 2012 Velodrome, one of the four permanent venues on the Olympic Park, and oversaw the project's detailed design and construction.
Other projects that he has been involved with include the Cyprus Cultural Centre and a 500 bed public hospital in Italy. He is currently working on the refurbishment of the East Wing Tower for St Thomas' Hospital, London.
