Thom Kilvert

Associate Director

Prior to joining the practice in 2005, Thom studied architecture at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and the University of Westminster.

He has worked on projects including the refurbishment of the 1930s Wellcome Trust building, that created new exhibition galleries and conference spaces, a $270 Million chemistry department for Princeton University in the US, and a 500 bed hospital in La Spezia, Italy.

More recently, Thom was Project Architect for the London 2012 Velodrome, one of the four permanent Olympic venues. He oversaw the detailed design of this 6,000 seat stadium and was based on site for the majority of the construction period. He was also heavily involved with the recently completed transformation works, which converted the Games–time venue into a community facility set within the wider Lee Valley Velopark.

More recently, Thom worked on the refurbishment of the East Wing Tower for St Thomas’ Hospital in London, the Holkham Hall Pottery and Stables Project, and was part of the team responsible for delivering a new pavilion for Herne Hill Velodrome. He is currently working on a new covered courts project in South West London.
