Bury St Edmunds, Cattle Market Masterplan
Suffolk, UK 2009
A masterplan for the extension of the historic core.
Bury St Edmunds is one of England's best preserved historic market towns. Its medieval urban structure is largely intact. The Cattle Market site was established in Victorian times on the town's western perimeter. Market activities have now ceased and the site has become a large car park. The town has now seized the opportunity to extend their historic core into this area.
