Thomas Corrie

Associate Partner

Thomas studied architecture at the University of Sheffield, graduating with Distinction, before joining Hopkins Architects in 2006. His first project with the practice was Kroon Hall for the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University in Connecticut, USA.

In 2007 Thomas was part of the competition-winning team for the London 2012 Velopark and subsequently spent four years working on the project through all stages to its completion in early 2011. Recently he has worked on a mountain bike bridge to be installed in the Olympic Park after the games as part of the Legacy Transformation.

During the design of the Velodrome, Thomas developed expertise in three-dimensional and parametric modelling to enable analysis of the complex geometry and sightlines of the seating tiers. Since 2010 he has been leading the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) within the practice and currently serves as our BIM Manager.
